Student Body Presidential Elections

The race for student body president and vice president is well underway. The ballot holds three teams: Leah Nygaard with Luke Brodeur, Cam Knutson with Keenan Hauff and Brendan O’ Gorman with Aria Ahadzada. Each candidate wants to reach out to the student body and instill more Bison pride. The ways they want to do that vary, but the main goal of all is to increase student involvement on NDSU’s campus. Another common focus is international exchange students, or studying abroad advancements. The candidates want to make studying abroad more accessible to the students and make those who come here feel more at home. Candidates have met for two debates and discussed issues that they would face as NDSU’s new student body president.
